  • Account Information: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from those providers.
  • Workout Data: We collect data you enter or import, including exercise sessions, exercises, sets, repetitions, and weights.
  • Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including features used and actions taken.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide fitness tracking services and sync workout data across devices
  • Calculate streaks, badges, and progress metrics
  • Enforce daily import limits for free and premium accounts
  • Improve the App experience and fix bugs
  • Send important service notifications

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Authentication is managed by Clerk, which securely handles your sign-in credentials and tokens. Both providers employ industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

Third-Party Services

TheBuild uses the following third-party services. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

  • Google Sign-In — identity provider
  • Apple Sign-In — identity provider
  • Clerk — authentication and user management
  • Supabase — cloud data storage

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your workout sessions, saved workouts, preferences, and account data will be permanently removed.

You have the right to:

  • Access your data stored by TheBuild
  • Delete your account and all associated data at any time
  • Opt out of non-essential data collection

Children's Privacy

TheBuild is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App.
